A Nigerian female fan, Rachael Brown, has jokingly told Super Falcons skipper, Asisat Oshoala to get pregnant for Lionel Messi so both can give Nigeria another Messi.

Rachel stated this in a post on Instagram in reaction to Oshoala’s post on the social media platform in commemoration of Messi’s record 6th Ballon d’Or award in Paris, France a day earlier.

The Barcelona Femení striker accompanied her post by the picture above taken with Messi at Barcelona training ground, stating she was the closest Nigerian to the Argentina super star at the moment.

“The closest Nigerian to MES6IX right now, proud,” stated the former FC Robo of Lagos player with seven goals in eight matches for Barcelona.

“Oshoala be a sharp girl. Sleep with Messi and make sure he gets you pregnant, we need Messi Jr,” read Rachel’s comment.

Oshoala, who has been nominated for African Women’s Player of the Year award, was happy to identify with Messi after he was awarded the 2019 Ballon d’Or at a star-studded ceremony on Monday evening.

Messi, who was crowned the world’s best player for the first time since 2015  received the prestigious prize in company of his wife and three sons on a record sixth occasion overall after seeing off strong competition from Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo, who emerged second and third respectively.

Meanwhile, several stakeholders of world football are felicitating with Messi. England legend, Gary Lineker expressed his delight in a post on Twitter on Monday thus: “His numbers this year are once again truly extraordinary. He’s head and shoulders the best player in world football. He plays a game that is both joyous and incomprehensible to mere mortals. The award is totally meritorious.”
