Former Barcelona midfielder Alex Song has completed a surprise move to Djiboutian football club Arta Solar 7, they’ve confirmed, describing this transfer as ‘a real coup’ for the local football.
Song has signed a 2-year contract with the club which have won 10 trophies in more than 30 years.
The Cameroonian joined Barca for €19m in 2012 to replace legendary midfielder Seydou Keita.
He only managed 1 goal and 2 assists in 65 games before leaving for Russia on a free deal.
