Ole hopes to see Amad on the pitch soon – like most United fans.
“Amad [Diallo] has looked really comfortable and he’s settled in really well in training,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told the official Manchester United website. “It shows how technically adept he is and, of course, we’ll give him time to settle and adjust, but hopefully we can see him on the pitch in not too long. He’s definitely done well in training.”
The teenager has landed in Manchester and took part in his very first training session with the senior players on Friday.
There’s a lot of excitement surrounding the teenager but Ole has hinted earlier that we may need to wait before seeing Amad in action.
Diallo’s position is a ‘mezzala’ on the field and he’s already made a mark in the Champions League while playing for Atalanta.
