- France Football are set to publish an exclusive interview with Neymar on December 17.
- They’ve released a small part of the interview.
- The Brazilian says he has no plans to leave Paris Saint-Germain as he has two more years left at the club.
- The 27-year-old was linked with a Camp Nou return a few months ago.
Neymar reportedly wanted to leave Parc des Princes last summer and did everything in his power to do so. However, he said in a recent interview that he has no reasons to leave. Was it all a lie from the media then?
“Why would I want to leave [laughs]. I have two years left on my contract and the team is still improving. We have to remain focused on this season to do as well as we can and win as many titles as we can. This season our main objective is the Champions League. And my priority is PSG. The goal is always to win the next game. In every match, we have to push ourselves for the club. That’s the way I see it,” said the player during the exclusive interview with France Football (h/t Diario AS).
In the summer, Neymar was heavily linked with a Paris Saint-Germain exit but was made to stay at the club. According to an earlier report from Marca, Neymar’s intentions to leave remained the same which force the Parisians to reconsider their firm stance on their precious asset.
PSG demanded €300m for Neymar. This time, the Parisians could consider offers of around €180m, Marca added. Barcelona, of course, remain interested in the winger.
Do you think Neymar’s return is still possible?
