Neymar reveals he ‘tried everything’ to return to Barca

“We’re really good friends, Leo [Messi] and me,” Neymar said on the Fenomenos Podcast.
“Ever since Barcelona, we’ve built this friendship, a very strong one. So we started talking about playing together again last year, I mean, the year before that.

“I tried getting back to Barcelona. We tried everything, but it didn’t work out.”

Neymar left Barca for PSG in 2017. Since then, the Catalans have tried to bring the forward back to Camp Nou several times.
