Barcelona are readying a new contract for Ronald Araujo, as per Sport.
The new contract will keep the player at the club for the next 5 years.
Araujo will also be tired to a €1 billion release clause – that would put him on equal valuation with the likes of Ansu Fati and Pedri.

The 22-year-old is entering the last year of his current contract, which means he could leave the club as a free agent if nothing is done.
Barca must be wary of the bottleneck they suffered with Dembele, and that explains why the club are moving quickly to tie down Araujo.
