New contracts for Messi and Ilaix Moriba will reportedly be next president’s priority

• The new Barca president will set Leo Messi’s and Ilaix Moriba’s new deals as a priority, as per ESPN.
• The Argentine’s current deal runs until July 2021.
• As for Moriba, the highly-rated youngster is to stay at Barca until July 2022.
• Back in February, Moriba became the second-youngest goalscorer for Barca B, aged just 17 years and 1 month.
• In total, the central midfielder scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists in 19 matches for Barca B and Barca U19 combined, including a winner against Hertha Berlin in the UEFA Youth League.
• Moriba is already compared to Paul Pogba, described as ‘tall, lanky, all-action midfielder’ by the Guardian.
