- Antoine Griezmann might be a great player and a person.
- However, he shouldn’t have released that ‘The Decision’ documentary in which he said ‘no’ to Barcelona, Sports.ru user claims.
- Antoine thought he was among the best players on Earth and acted too arrogantly at that point, he explains.
“Griezmann impresses me as a player. I used to read articles about him and it seemed that he was an excellent person, probably he is now,” Sports.ru user says.
“But there is one significant ‘but’.
“At a certain point, Antoine thought that he was on par with the great ones. I can’t get the film out of my head, ‘The Decision’, because of the analogy with another player who also called it ‘Decision’ [LeBron James]. But LeBron is different. He is arguably the greatest basketball player in history and he is entitled to it because of his cosmic merit.”

“This film ruined everything.
“Of course, each person loves oneself. We all do, that is right. But the problem is that some people lose their heads at some point. Antoine decided that he was a player of such a high level that he could make a film about himself. I think that now he realizes that he made a serious mistake.
“I would understand if such a film came out about Messi or Ronaldo. I even understand when a film about Ibrahimovic comes out. What did Griezmann do to act so arrogantly?!
“And the most important thing is that he actually said “no” to Barcelona in that film – and then he joined them.”
Indeed, it seems like absolutely everything went wrong for Griezmann after that movie was out – he had a decent season with Atletico but then it all collapsed on the day he signed for Barca.
