Messi reveals his career plans after World Cup triumph

Leo Messi’s career is complete now that he’s won the World Cup. However, he will not retire from the national team for now.
“This is the trophy that has brought me the most happiness in my career. I want to play a few more matches for Argentina as a world champion,” Messi has told TyC Sports.

The next big tournament for Argentina will be the 2024 Copa America. While it’s unlikely that he’ll keep playing until then, at least the Argentinian fans will have the pleasure to enjoy the GOAT for a few more matches.
