Messi and Barcelona fined combined €780m over Leo's tribute to Diego Maradona

Meanwhille, Leo’s yellow card that he received for the same action hasn’t been withdrawn.

Lionel Messi and Barcelona have been fined €600 and €180 respectively for the Argentine’s tribute to the late Diego Maradona in last weekend’s 4-0 win over Osasuna.
The Spanish Soccer Federation’s competition committee also refused to withdraw Messi’s yellow card that he received for taking off his Barca shirt to reveal a Newell’s Old Boys jersey belonging to Maradona.
