Here’s how our players fared against Levante.

1. Frenkie de Jong — 9
The Dutchman was Barcelona’s best performer, being useful both in attack and defence. De Jong had a great night despite having to play as a right central midfielder in the second half and a defensive midfielder in the second. Besides, he assisted our only goal of the night.

2. Leo Messi — 8.5
Once again, the captain was all over the pitch against Levante. Messi registered 12 shots in the match and thankfully got on the scoresheet in the end. As always, most of Blaugrana’s attacks went through him.

3. Marc-Andre ter Stegen — 7.5
The German is finally finding his best game after missing the start of the season through injury. Ter Stegen was especially great early in the match when Levante were active upfront, making some crucial saves. His passing was good as well.

4. Martin Braithwaite — 7.5
Despite failing to score, Braithwaite was extremely useful upfront, once again reminding everyone that Barca are better when playing with a striker. The Dane won the ball in the episode that ended in Messi scoring the only goal of the night. Martin also registered two key passes.

5. Ronald Araujo — 7
The centre-back is regaining his old for back by the looks of things. Araujo was secure at the back, stopped some dangerous attacks and his passing was good as well.

Others: Dest — 7, Lenglet — 7, Alba — 7, Busquets — 6.5, Coutinho — 6.5, Griezmann — 7.5, Pedri — 6.5, Trincao — 6, Umtiti — n/a.
