Taking into account that it was the 83rd minute and the score was 1-1, not every player would’ve gone for such a shot. Usually, aiming for the bottom corners is considered safer for the penalty-taker, but also easier for the goalkeeper to save the shot.

This term so far, Depay has recorded 10 goals and two assists in 25 games for Barcelona. In his career at Camp Nou, the striker has taken five penalties, scoring four of them.
