This is according to the ex-Red Devils man Chadwick.
Pogba is yet to sign an extension with his deal expiring in 2022.
Grealish, meanwhile, has established himself among the best PL midfielders.
Speaking to Caught Offside, former Manchester United midfielder Luke Chadwick said: “I think it would be disappointing if Paul Pogba left because he’s just coming into form and playing some of the best football he’s played.
“It’ll be interesting to see if Pogba goes, what they do with the finances. For me, the one player I’d look to break the bank for is Jack Grealish, who has looked one of the best players in the Premier League for Aston Villa.
“If he was surrounded by the kind of calibre of player he would be at Man United I think he could be an absolute world-class player in a few years’ time. He looks to be positive every time he gets the ball. He can make things happen.”
Pogba’s Old Trafford contact expires in the summer of 2022 and the Frenchman’s agent Mino Raiola is pushing for his client to leave the club at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old’s brother Mathias has called on the Red Devils to sell the midfielder as soon as possible or risk losing him on a free transfer.
