Malacia names one ex-United player as inspiration behind his Old Trafford move

Tyrell Malacia is only official announcement away from completing his move to Man United.

The left-back has all but confirmed the transfer in an interview with De Telegraaf, revealing that he watched the Red Devils in his childhood due to Robin van Persie playing for them.

“In the youth of Feyenoord we played a youth tournament at Manchester United and I said: I will come back here one day. That has now come true and that is of course wonderful!
