Lionel Messi’s son Thiago weeps after elimination from Newell’s Cup

Lionel Messi’s son Thiago was reduced to tears after his team Inter Miami were knocked out of the Illinois Newell’s Cup being held in Rosario, Argentina.

Thiago Messi is the centre-piece of the team alongside Benja Suárez, son of Barca legend Luis Suarez.

Inter Miami kids were held to a a 1-1 draw against City Torque ensuring their elimination from the tournament on aggregate.

Regardless of the result, 12-year-old Thiago is making strides in football and may eventually become a superstar like his iconic father. The same goes for Benja Suárez.
