Leo insists there have been no problems with the French striker.
He once again dismisses the claims he didn’t want Antoine at Barca.
“The relationship is good [with Griezmann], I already said it. Sometimes we drink mate together,” Leo Messi said to La Sexta in an exclusive interview, as quoted by Goal.

On the alleged rift with the French striker, Messi added: “I never had problems with him and I never did anything that was said – that I did not want his signing and all that.”

Ever since Griezmann joined Barca for €120m in July 2019, it’s been widely reported that Messi wasn’t happy with this transfer as he wanted Neymar instead.

Griezmann has scored 20 goals in 66 games for the Catalan giants.
