The interim board will decide on the new date for the election next Tuesday, January 26.
Joan Laporta insists it’s time to make decisions to clear up the things.
“On Tuesday, the committee will decide on the [new] date of the elections, it seems the reasoning from the other day has changed a bit, so let’s see what they decide,” Joan Laporta told the press after Wednesday’s big meeting, as quoted by Diario Sport.

Laporta concluded with a clear jab at the interim board: “It’s good that they want to keep us informed but I think it’s time to make decisions and make things more clear.”

As a reminder, the election was supposed to take place on January 24. It was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. March 7 is believed to be the new election day.
