Joan Laporta says that he actually talked to Leo Messi in October.
He and Leo respect each other a lot, the presidential candidate notes.
Laporta wants Messi to take no hasty decisions and wait until the election takes place.

“The last time I spoke to Messi was in October. I am lucky that there is mutual appreciation and respect between us. I would like him to wait for the new president and listen to Barca’s proposal,” presidential candidate Joan Laporta has told COPE.

Interestingly, Laporta said in November that he hadn’t yet talked to the Argentine. What’s clear, however, is that the ex-president’s plan is to make Leo happy again – that’s what he’s been talking about while presenting his presidential program.
