Ronald Koeman says that Leo was always there when Barca struggled to make the difference.

Barca are still Messi-dependent but this has always been the case, the Dutchman adds.
“Messi-dependency? Yes, there is some, but it was like that for many years. His game and his importance for the team have been great. When the team did not play well, Leo was there to make the difference. This is why he is the best in the world,” Ronald Koeman has told the media.
Although Leo Messi had one of his worst years statistically, there’s no Barca player who could even come close to his numbers.
This season so far, the 33-year-old has recorded 12 goals and 3 assists in 21 appearances for Barca.
