Recent reports suggest that Valverde will leave at the end of the season.
Ex-Barca star Koeman is among the contenders to replace him.
Ronald admits that the could consider Barca, but it would be after the Euro 2020.

Barca are having a roller-coaster of a season. The team looks bad especially in away matches, and the fans see Ernesto Valverde as the main problem and want him sacked as soon as possible. However, Barcelona reportedly plan to part ways at the end of the season with the coach and have already started looking for a replacement.As such, Ronald Koeman is one of the names on Barca’s list.

“[Coaching Barca] is a possibility but it would happen only after the 2020 Euro,” Marca quote him saying.

The 2020 Euro will be held next summer, between June 12 and July 12. The Dutch team is yet to qualify for the final stage.

As a reminder, Koeman is said to have a clause in his contract, allowing him to leave for Barcelona. However, it can only be triggered after the 2019/2020 campaign. Which means no Koeman at Barca if Valverde is fired during the course of the season even if he wanted to.

Koeman has been in charge of the Dutch national team since February 2018. The Netherlands are currently joint-top with Germany in their UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying group C.

As a player, Koeman spent six years at Barcelona, between 1989 and 1995. He scored a free-kick goal to win Barca their first-ever European Cup as they beat Sampdoria 1-0 in 1992:
