Koeman confirms Leo Messi is ready to face Huesca

Koeman says Messi doesn’t have any discomfort and is motivated to play.
The coach reveals that Leo did extra work while the rest of the squad were off.
“He is doing well. He trained on the 30th and 31st, while the rest were off,” Ronald Koeman has said of Leo Messi, as quoted by Marca.

“Messi doesn’t have any discomfort. He is ready, happy and motivated. Leo is important for us.”

As a reminder, the Argentine missed the match against Eibar with a slight ankle injury. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Huesca host Barcelona on Sunday, January 3; kick-off is at 9:00 pm CET.
