Frank Kessie will have a net salary of €6.5m per season at Barcelona, with a contract until 2026, Mundo Deportivo’s Roger Torello claims. Despite arriving as a free agent, the midfielder won’t receive a signing bonus.

For comparison, Frenkie de Jong’s salary has risen to €20m net (€40m gross) with the start of the new season.

Kessie is expected to arrive in Catalonia on Tuesday and be presented on Wednesday. He could train with his new teammates already on Wednesday.
