The Red Devils bagged all three points and are now second in the standings.

Daniel James – 8/10

Arguably our best player on the pitch, Dan James made a strong case for all of his detractors. He put up a lively performance and did more than just speedy runs. His goal was the icing on the cake.

Marcus Rashford – 7/10

Scored our first goal of the game and Rashy did well in his familiar left-wing role. He also won the penalty which sealed the deal for Man United in the end.

Nemanja Matic – 6.5/10

Played a role in creating the second goal and definitely made an impact. The midfield combination wasn’t the best but it must be noted that we’ve got an injury crisis in that department.

Luke Shaw – 7.5/10

Working tirelessly and relentlessly down the left and what a player he’s blossomed into! He constantly terrorised Newcastle and offered a lot going forward.

Victor Lindelof – 6/10

Fans were upset about his inclusion but he was often let down by Harry Maguire, who had a very poor game. In terms of composure, however, Lindelof looked better than Harry.

The rest: De Gea – 5, Wan-Bissaka – 5, Maguire – 3, Fred – 4, Bruno – 7, Martial – 2.

Subs: Greenwood – 5, Mata – 4, Shoretire – 5.
