Contrary to reports, it seems like the youngsters will stay at Barca for the season.
Barcelona won’t send either of Carles Alena or Riqui Puig on loan for as long as Carles Tusquets is in charge, reputable Diario AS journalist Javi Miguel reports.
The interim president will be at the club at least until January 24 when the presidential election is set to take part.
Considering that the new board are expected to start their work only in February, it’s unlikely that the La Masia duo will leave in the winter market.
Unfortunately, the youngsters haven’t been getting much playing time this term: Alena has played 168 minutes across 5 matches while Puig has got 77 minutes across 4 matches.
