  • Victor Font won’t try to bring back Neymar because of the way the Brazilian treated Barcelona.
  • He also admits this transfer won’t be viable for financial reasons.

“Institutionally, Neymar’s not in my plans,” Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font told Diario Sport.

“For financial reasons and for other reasons, like the lawsuit he has against the club and the fact he left the club in a tricky position days before the season started in 2017.”

“He would fit in on the sporting side but not on the financial or the institutional side of things,” Font concluded.

Obviously, Font was referring to Neymar’s infamous €222m move to PSG and €60m court case over the unpaid loyalty bonuses.

Last week, Diario Sport sensationally claimed that several Barcelona presidential candidates contacted Neymar over a potential return.
