Gary Cahill has backed Frank Lampard to re-enter management.
Cahill says he doesn’t know when Lampard will return.
The ex-Blue has speculated about what job Lampard might get offered after having Chelsea on his resume.
“I think so, definitely,” Cahill said, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live.
“I don’t know how soon, it depends on him personally and the opportunities, but for sure I see him getting back in.
“It will be interesting where he gets back in, because you look at the two jobs he has had and they couldn’t really be further apart, at Derby in the Championship and then one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.
“So where he fits in, I’m not quite sure, but for sure, I see him getting back in.”
Frank Lampard’s future seems uncertain after his sacking from Chelsea but the his managerial career is still in it’s infancy.
Should Frank Lampard manage to do well, it’s not unthinkable that the legend could return to Chelsea in the future. After all, even Jose Mourinho got another shot after the way he left during his first stint.
