Shakhtar Donetsk perhaps shocked their own fans when they beat Real Madrid 3-2 in the Champions League last October. And at the forefront of that win was Tete, a 20-year-old attacking midfielder.
In a recent interview with Globoesporte, the young Brazilian revealed: “I have a dream of playing for Liverpool and Manchester United but I’m focused on Shakhtar. I still have a few more years on my contract. I will do my part, right now I’m only thinking about giving my best for Shakhtar.”
In the win over Madrid, Tete scored a goal and provided an assist and is widely regarded as one the brightest talents in football right now.
He played 26 league games last season and scored 8 goals while registering 4 assists.
