- Harry Maguire has jokingly suggested he should’ve been awarded an assist for helping Bruno Fernandes score in Sunday’s FA Cup win over Liverpool.
- “Eyes on the ball,” the Englishman wrote alongside a picture of him blocking Alisson‘s view after Bruno’s free-kick attempt.
- “Was the block good enough? @brunofernandes.10 ASSIST?” Magure later added.
- It was Fernandes who sealed a 3-2 victory over the Reds with a masterful free-kick strike in 78th minute of the encounter.
- The Red Devils will take on West Ham in the next round of the competition.
