“They are two good players, and good players understand each other well,” Clement Lenglet told Diario Sport when asked on the new partnership between Leo Messi and Pedri.
“Pedri plays with his head, thinks faster than the rest and has a good connection with Messi because he’s also intelligent.”
In the 3-0 Valladolid win, Pedri provided a lovely backheel assist on Leo Messi’s record-breaking goal and became the 3rd-youngest Barca player to grab an assist.
