Seven years have passed since this comment from Cafu and we can say with certainty that even this amount of time wasn’t enough for Neymar to surpass Messi and Ronaldo.

The Brazilian had a successful run at Barca as part of the formidable MSN trio. However, Ney wanted to be the main star on the team and moved to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
Neymar is going to turn 29 in February and even if he manages to win the Champions League with PSG and gets the Ballon d’Or, his legacy will never surmount that of Messi or Ronaldo.
