Gianluca Vialli once received fancy CD player for MOTM performance as Chelsea player-manager (video)

Vialli led Chelsea to the League Cup final is his first game in charge with a 3-1 win over Arsenal.

Gianluca Vialli was given a CD player in the shape of a football in 1998 as a prize for winning Man of the Match against Arsenal.

The striker scored in a 3-1 win after the sacking of Ruud Gullit gave him the job of Chelsea manager.
Vialli would go on to win both the League Cup as well as the UEFA Cup Winners Cup for Chelsea that season.
The Italian managed Chelsea till 2000, leading the club to FA Cup and UEFA Super Cup glory as well!
