Mohamed Salah scored a brace as Liverpool thrashed Man United 4-0 to top EPL table, Afriupdate News reports.

First Half Report

Two goals scored in the first half of the encounter ensured the Reds had their way against their opponent who was no match for them.

Liverpool opened the goal scoring in the 5th minute thanks to Luis Diaz who scored an outstanding goal with assist from Mohamed Salah to make it 1-0.

Man United had little to contribute as they went into the game missing Cristiano Ronaldo who lost his child during birth and it led to him being ruled out before kickoff.

The Reds doubled their advantage in the 22nd minute of the game through a brilliant finish from Mohamed Salah who made the scoreline 2-0 as it progressed further.

More opportunities was seen in the match as VAR played in part of the encounter which could have seen the scoreline increased further.

It remained the same as the first half of the match ended with Liverpool 2-0 Man United which saw them heading inside for the break after 45 minutes of football played.

Second Half Report

So much happened in the second half which still Manchester United were too poor to make anything tangible happen as it continued.

Man United held on good for a while as the second half carried on with them doing so much on the pitch to make something good happen.

Sadio Mane made it 3-0 in the 68th minute after yet another fine play from the home side ensuring they increased their advantage which was becoming embarrassing for the away side.

More opportunities on goal was seen until Mohamed Salah made it his brace and 4-0 in the 85th minute as the match continued.

The match ended with Liverpool 4-0 Man United as the reds claimed all three points which pushed them above Manchester City as number one on the table.
