Mendy’s light touch on Braithwaite inside the box was ignored by the official.
Juan Andujar Oliver insists the ref made the right decision.
At the end of the second half at 2-1, Martin Braithwaite threw himself on the ground inside the penalty area after Ferland Mendy’s soft touch.
Barcelona players were surrounded Jesus Gil Manzano but the ref waved away their appeals.
“The referee is right again,” former referee Juan Andujar Oliver told Radio MARCA of the episode.
“There’s a little tug from Mendy but not enough to give a penalty.”
At full-time, Gerrard Pique and Ronald Koeman approached the referee and demanded explanations from him.
