Rocco Maiorino recalls calling Barca’s technical director and telling him that he found a perfect fit for the Catalans.

“I called Ramon Planes [Barca’s technical director] and said I had a player for Barca,” former Las Palmas sporting director Rocco Maiorino has said on the Tot Costa show while discussing Pedri.

A few days ago, Maiorino also said that Las Palmas noticed ‘something extraordinary’ in Pedri already during his first training session with the Segunda side.

Pedri has been one of the best youngsters at the season’s beginning. The 17-year-old has already made 7 appearances for the Catalans, scoring 1 goal.
