Trusted Italian Transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romani has confirmed the departure of Man Utd Full back to the Bundesliga.

Fose Mensah had found game time difficult to come by and his contract was due to expire this summer. Solskjaer said he would definitely not renew his contract but instead of losing him for free, it seems United would make a few million pounds from his sale.

Fabrizio earlier tweeted: “Bayer Leverkusen are in advanced talks to sign Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Man Utd, as per @samuelluckhurst. There are ‘positive feelings’ to complete the deal soon, personal terms have been agreed – there are still some details to be sorted between the two clubs.”

And later confirmed the deal was done in a later tweet.
