De Jong set for for showdown talks with Barcelona

Frenkie de Jong’s future is expected to be resolved ‘in the forthcoming days’, according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

As negotiations continue, the Dutchman is set to have showdown talks with Barcelona following the latest bid from Manchester United.

The two clubs have reportedly reached a broad agreement over the £55 million deal but there’s a matter of £17 million Barca owe to the player in wages.
