The Red Devils were beaten 2-1 at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
De Gea – 3
De Gea was at fault for Sheffield United’s opener after his attempt to punch out the ball from a corner failed miserably. Should’ve cleared better for the second.
Alex Telles – 6
The Brazilian wasn’t involved in the open play as much as Luke Shaw but he still managed to claim an assist from a corner for Harry Maguire’s equaliser.
Harry Maguire – 5
A few defensive lapses from the captain in the first half but he managed to make up for it with a header after the break. Still, far too many sloppy mistakes.
Axel Tuanzebe – 4
Tuanzebe failed to stake his claim at Old Trafford with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opting to rest Victor Lindelof. Caught out of positions for the Blades’ second goal.
Paul Pogba – 4
Pogba started well but faded away as the game progressed. Failed to make an impact and push forward despite seeing plenty of the ball during the game.
Anthony Martial – 2
Another anonymous display from Martial might’ve cost Manchester United a place in the title race. Should’ve been replaced by Edinson Cavani at the break.
The rest: Wan-Bissaka – 5.5, Matic – 5, Bruno Fernandes – 5, Rashford – 4.5, Greenwood – 5.5.
Subs: Cavani – 5, Shaw – 5, Van de Beek – N/A.
