Cristiano Ronaldo 'not guaranteed' to stay at Man United beyond this summer

As per ESPN’s Mark Ogden, a fairly reliable source, Cristiano Ronaldo is ‘not guaranteed’ to fulfill the final year in his Manchester United contract and could leave this summer.

The 36-year-old will reportedly wait till the new manager is finalised to make a decision about his future. ESPN understands that he could still opt to leave if he’s not part of the new manager’s plans.

Ronaldo, who turns 37 on Saturday, has scored 14 goals across competitions this term. Since his return, he’s been ‘alarmed’ at how the standards have dropped at the club after Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
