Condition for Barcelona to sign Azpilicueta revealed

According to Diario Sport, Barcelona have made a proposal to Cesar Azpilicueta, offering him a two-year contract with an option for a further year.
Chelsea have a ‘right of first refusal’ on the proposal. It means that they can extend the deal with the defender if they offer him a better package than Barcelona.

But the 32-year-old’s agents are confident it’s not going to happen.

At this point, it is extremely likely Azpilicueta will join Barcelona. He is expected to give a definitive answer after a scheduled meeting with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia.
