The Barcelona boss could face a lengthy ban for his statements about the referee’s decisions in the Real Madrid loss last month.

  • The Competition Committee has opened a case against Ronald Koeman for his comments about the referee’s decisions in the 3-1 Real Madrid loss last month, according to Cadena SER’s Adria Albets.
  • Barcelona conceded their second goal in El Clasico after a controversial penalty call.
  • Following the game, Koeman angrily claimed that he ‘doesn’t understand VAR’ as ‘every decision is against Barca‘.
  • It was claimed earlier that the Barca boss could be suspended for between 4 to 12 games for his statements.
