Chelsea put four past Malmo as win overshadowed by injuries to Lukaku and Werner

• Andreas Christensen scored his first Chelsea goal to give the hosts the lead as early as the eighth minute
• Jorginho doubled advantage with penalty but Romelu Lukaku was forced off injured moments later
• Strike partner Timo Werner also forced off in first period with hamstring issue just before half-time
• Kai Havertz and another Jorginho penalty made it 4-0 before the hour as Blues cruised to an easy win

The clouds burst and the goals poured for Chelsea but injuries to Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner left Thomas Tuchel with fresh problems.

Malmo were swept aside as they were expected to be. The Swedish champions simply outclassed and overwhelmed at Stamford Bridge as Tuchel’s team steadied their Champions League campaign after the defeat at Juventus.
