Chelsea’s owner Todd Boehly has arrived at the El Prat airport in Barcelona. As reported by Gerard Romero (5 stars), he could have a meeting with Barca later today.
There are several players they could end up discussing.
1. Frenkie de Jong – Chelsea have reportedly decided to enter the race for the Dutchman and are confident in their ability to convince the midfielder. Despite Joan Laporta’s public statements, Barca are open to selling the player.
2. Sergino Dest – The right-back is another player that could leave Camp Nou this summer, and Chelsea are said to be interested in him.
3. Cesar Azpilicueta – Barca want the Spanish veteran to reinforce the backline and apparently hope to finish the transfer in the coming days.
4. Marcos Alonso – The left-back is viewed as an option to offer Jordi Alba competition. The Catalans want to get him at a low price as his deal is set to expire next summer.
