The Blues were reportedly seriously considering him in the summer.

Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, who was reportedly targeted by Chelsea in the summer, has picked up a one-year ban from football after a doping violation.
The Cameroonian’s drug test on October 30 found furosemide in his urine.
Ajax explain that Onana felt unwell that day and took a pill, not knowing that it contains the banned substance.
Onana was rumoured to be among Chelsea’s potential targets for the summer move, especially after his former teammate Hakim Ziyech was signed.
The Blues finally decided to go for Edouard Mendy and in hindsight, it appears to be the right choice.
