Portugal lost 1-0 to Switzerland in their latest UEFA Nations League clash on Sunday.

Switzerland scored within the first minute and Portugal were simply unable to find an equaliser for the rest of the game.

While Cristiano Ronaldo was not part of the Portugal team, Bruno Fernandes played 74 minutes before being substituted.

As Portugal desperately looked for an equaliser, during the 91st minute, Switzerland defender Nico Elvedi and Portugal forward Andre Silva appeared to clash and it resulted in a Switzerland free-kick.

However, replays did show that Elvedi went down a little too easily, prompting anger among the Portuguese bench.

And the camera caught the Manchester United midfielder shouting at the opponents’ bench, even saying ‘f*** you’.

It remains to be seen if his explosive reaction leads to a touchline punishment. In the future, the 27-year-old needs to work on controlling his emotions better.
