According to Javi Miguel of Diario AS (4 stars), Mikel Zubimendii will be available for just €15m this summer.

Zubimendi is the number one candidate to compete with Sergio Busquets next season, the club values him ahead of Ruben Neves.

However, for the move to go through, Barcelona need to sell Frenkie de Jong first. Barca may need to offload the Dutchman this summer to solve their financial problems.

As for Zubimendi, the 23-year-old mainly plays as a defensive midfielder. This season, he recorded three goals and two assists in 47 games for Real Sociedad.
