When asked if Manchester United can challenge Liverpool to win the Premier League title, Bruno Fernandes told the BBC: “Of course but it’s far away the end of the Premier League so we have to keep going, train hard and try to keep winning. You have to keep this mentality of winning and winning.”
The Red Devils made a slow start to the season but are now level on points (33) with table toppers Liverpool after a hard-fought win over Aston Villa.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also remained diplomatic about our chances of winning the title this season but Bruno is right – if we can maintain the momentum we’ve gained, there’s no reason why we cannot go the distance.
