  • Fernandes is on the verge of signing for Man United.
  • The midfielder’s medical has been penciled in for Thursday.
  • However, it could reportedly happen as early as Wednesday.

Bruno Fernandes is set to jet to Manchester on Wednesday after United have finally agreed a deal with Sporting Lisbon for the midfielder.

According to The Telegraph, a tier one source, the 25-year-old midfielder is scheduled to have his medical at the Carrington training centre on Thursday.

However, the examination could be brought forward to the day of his arrival as the Red Devils look to wrap up the deal for the Portuguese amid major interest from Barcelona.

Man United are set to pay an initial €55 million upfront to Sporting plus an additional €10 million in various add-ons.
