Managers’ quotes

Ronald Koeman (Barca): “Valencia are a strong and competitive side. We have to be good and creative. We always create [chances], but we must be more clinical.”

Javi Gracia (Valencia): “Barcelona seem to be better every day. They’ve improved their level in the last few games. Before the match, the only option we contemplate is winning.”

Predictions

SportsMole’s Matt Law: Barcelona 2-1 Valencia

“Valencia, for all of their problems this season, are certainly capable of pulling off a surprise win at Camp Nou. Barca’s win over Sociedad was extremely important, though, and will have left the hosts in a confident mood ahead of this contest; we are expecting a tight affair but expect Koeman’s side to triumph.”

90min’s Daniel Feliciano: Barcelona 2-0 Valencia

“Valencia are struggling for goals domestically but Barcelona have been incredibly frail defensively this season. Overall, the quality in the Barcelona side and the poor form of Valencia’s entire team should mean that the home side win this one comfortably.”
