Simply the best side in the country since 2000.

Barcelona have been named the best Spanish football club of the XXI century by The Research Centre for the History and Statistics of Spanish Football (CIHEFE).
The Catalans topped the rankings with 3,465 points; Real Madrid are the runner-ups with 3,347.
Atletico Madrid complete the top 3 with 2,149 points; Valencia and Sevilla are 4th and 5th respectively.
The ranking is based on the clubs’ performance between the 2000/01 and the 2019/20 seasons.
The main focus was not on the titles won but on the number of games won – 9 points were awarded for the win, 3 for the draw.
