Barcelona have made it very clear that they are looking to revitalize the team and get rid of any player who is no longer fit to play at the club. The club has a few legends playing for them right now however, that will not be a factor for the team and they are ready to get rid off anyone who does not suit their needs. Players such as Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, etc, are club legends but their age prevents them from playing at the top level and it is more than likely that they will be moved from the club soon.

The Catalans are trying to replace all these players and several young candidates have been linked with Barca who could replace these legends and bring forth the new era for the club. According to reports, Ajax’s Nicolás Tagliafico was Barca’s main target for the winter transfer window. With the transfer season almost at an end, it will be a very tough deal to get through however, the Catalans are trying to get quite a few deals done by deadline day. Tagliafico was once one of the main players for the Dutch side however, now he is no longer that important and the club could loan him out if necessary.

Barcelona want to sign a left-back on loan

Reports suggest that Barca are trying to bring the Argentine left-back to Spain on a loan deal however, it will be an extremely complex task to accomplish. The player is much faster than Alba and he has the same quality as the Barca legend although not as refined. He will probably not be a long-term solution as the club has Jose Gaya in mind however, he could be a great short-term fix for the team as Alba is really starting to show his age and replacing him is a necessity now.
